Hit the waters near Cabo Girão in search of dolphins and whales on a 3-hour cruise trip from Funchal!

Set sail from the marina in Funchal, where you will board the yacht. Search for dolphins, whales, and sea turtles up to 3 miles from the coast. With some luck, you will see lots of native wildlife in their natural environment!

As you keep an eye out for local wildlife, take a dip in the water Cabo Girão and use the snorkel provided, or relax with a drink in your hand before your sailboat docks back at the Funchal Marina.

Although the staff were excellent and the boat was good, we didn't see any wildlife whilst on the experience. I am aware they they cannot control the animals and it is not always certain that we will see anything, but there was no offer of a second trip for a discounted price or money back from this trip. For it to be called a whales and dolphin cruise and to not see anything, it was quite disappointing.

Joao was an excellent tour guide, he shared a lot of information and did everything to ensure we had a wonderful time. A big thank you to Joao and Roberto for this amazing experience.

Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und haben für eine heitere Stimmung gesorgt. Um Getränke wurde sich auch sehr zuverlässig gekümmert, nur wurde der Hauptpunkt verfehlt, das Beobachten der Delfine und Wale. Das Schiff hielt sich durchgängig viel zu nah an der Küste auf, wie wir im Nachhinein von anderen Anbietern erfahren haben. Wir würden raten mit einem anderen Unternehmen zusammenzuarbeiten.

Top Tour mit wenigen Leuten und schönem Boot

Die Tour war ein voller Erfolg. Trotz mehrerer Hinweise, dass es keine Garantie gibt, Lebewesen auf offener See zu entdecken, hatten wir Glück und konnten viele Pilotwale entdecken. Die Guides standen mit anderen Booten in Kontakt, um uns so sicher wie möglich dieses Erlebnis zu ermöglichen. Sie waren alle super freundlich, haben uns die gesamte Zeit mit Getränken versorgt und viel gute Laune verbreitet. Man konnte danach noch vorm Cabo Girao noch ins Wasser springen - alles perfekt! :)
