ARTIS-Micropia in Amsterdam is the first and only museum in the world dedicated entirely to microbes. They're everywhere – in the air, on your skin and in your gut. They make food taste good, keep you healthy and maintain balance in nature. Microbes are essential.

At Micropia, this invisible world comes to life through living microbes, microscopes, interactive displays and stories from lab technicians. You can collect microbe stamps throughout the museum as you explore this fascinating microscopic universe.
