Kingston and Blue Mountains tour with Bob Marley Museum

4.2/5
770 reviews

The striking contrasts of urban and rural Jamaica are in the spotlight on this tour. Exploring Kingston and the Blue Mountains offers a great introduction to the island's character. Among the gems on this excursion are visits to a coffee plantation, Emancipation Park and the iconic Bob Marley Museum. As one of our seasoned guides puts it, "The blend of city vibrancy and tranquil countryside truly encapsulates the heart of Jamaica."

The adventure begins with a venture into the misty Blue Mountains. Savour an authentic Jamaican lunch, before setting off on a tour of the Rainforest Alliance-certified Craighton Estate. Let your senses be tantalised by the aroma of Blue Mountain coffee – widely recognised as one of the world's finest. Our guide shares, “The taste of freshly brewed coffee from the plantation is an experience like no other.”

Next, we plunge into the pulsating rhythm of Kingston. Explore historic sites in the capital's uptown such as Emancipation Park – home to the powerful Redemption Song and Bob Marley statues. At the Bob Marley Museum, you'll be able to learn all about reggae history, viewing mementos including his gold and platinum discs as well as his personal outfits and instruments. This tour promises an unforgettable insight into the soul of Jamaica.

Very interesting. Bus ride around the mountains was scary at times. Wasn’t sure which side of the road we were supposed to be on. Bit disappointed we couldn’t take photos in Bob Marley’s house

We loved absolutely everything! Our guide Vivienne and our driver the captain were brilliant. It was worth every penny that we paid. The visit to Kingston was amazing, the blue mountain experience was superb as well as educational, but for us the highlight was the Bob Marley museum. Saw Bob back in 1976 and for me this was a pilgrimage, emotional and informative. Vivienne was absolutely amazing all the way through the tour. 10 out of ten guys ********** brilliant. Thank you!!

My only thought would be perhaps just pick up places and times ie Montego Bay and Ocho Rio’s, but not a complaint, tour was absolutely what it said on its description only so much more, this is a real opportunity to see the real Jamaica, a very important aspect if you come To The Beautiful Island of Jamaica, a Great all round worth while experience , well done TUI, this was Amazing!! Thank you.

Don't get us wrong, we don't mind paying for that trip, but when it comes to safety. The driver on multiple occasions was driving the bus with his elbows because he had phone in hands. AND IT WAS RAINING HEAVILY at times No Marley music played the whole day on bus just religious stuff. Venera tour guide, did not interact personally with group. Went through motions be here this time, lunch that time, felt like it was just a job. But everyone else on bus, and location guide's, made it a good day.
