Kick off with a visit to Taman Ayun, a temple steeped in royal history in Mengwi. Built in 1634 by a king of the Mengwi dynasty, this temple is a marvel, sitting on an islet surrounded by a man-made lake. As the journey unfolds, find yourself enveloped by the misty embrace of Bali's central highlands at the Batukaru temple. Resting on Mount Batukaru's slopes, it's a sanctuary of peace and a symbol of Bali's deep-rooted spirituality.

The route then leads you through a tapestry of jungle greenery, to the doorstep of Jatiluwih village. Here, the UNESCO World Heritage rice terraces unfold in panorama of emerald green, showcasing Bali's agricultural heritage. After lunch with a view, you'll head to the iconic Tanah Lot Temple, silhouetted against the ocean.

Everything was perfect

We had a very enjoyable day. It was good value for money because all entry fees and meal was included in the price of the excursion. Our guide, Wayan , made the whole experience really memorable and he was very knowledgeable and has very good English. Our driver was excellent and made us feel quite safe. The 3 temples that we visited gave us a taste of the traditions of the lovely Balinese people. One was near the sea, another on the mountains and the other felt like a park. The meal was ok

It was wonderful to have the same guide with us and driver They were both good at there job. The temples were fantastic as was the rice terrace. The food was fine with plenty of choice.

The trip overall was very good. The guide was very knowledgeable and made the trip very entertaining. The rice fields and temples in the mountain were excellent and the lunch very good. The only thing that slightly spoiled the trip was the visit to Tanah Lot temple. The other temples gave a very good understanding of the Balinese culture and beliefs but Tanaj Lot is basically a huge gift shop with locals hassling you to buy souvenirs. This part of the trip should be replaced
