In this day tour, you'll explore the Snæfellsnes peninsula in West Iceland, which is almost a miniature version of the island itself. Expect black sandy beaches, steep bird cliffs, spectacular mountains and glaciers.

Wenn man die Tour mitten im Winter macht, ist es möglich, dass die Strecke aufgrund der Witterungsverhältnisse abgeändert wird: Sicherheit geht hier immer vor. Das war bei mir glücklicherweise nicht der Fall :-). Die Tour rund um die Halbinsel ist landschaftlich sehr beeindruckend und im Gegensatz zur Golden Circle Tour nicht "klassisch touristisch". Für die Wintertour: Sehr warme und winddichte Sachen anziehen, der Wind (teilweise Sturm) ist bei den Minusgraden absolut nicht zu unterschätzen. Zusatztipp: Eine Kamera dabeihaben, bei der man nicht wie beim Handy die Handschuhe ausziehen muss! Fazit: Großartige Tour! Man bekommt wirklich eine tolle Einsicht in die inländische Weite!
