Following its opening in 1918, the Gellért Spa become one of the most popular complexes in Budapest thanks to the properties of its waters and the beauty of its Art Nouveau structure. The spa is famous for its stunning use of marble, artistic mosaics and sculptures. Upon entering its magnificent main hall be sure to look up and admire the stained-glass ceiling.

Inside (and out) you'll find 13 pools filled with spring water, a steam room, saunas, cold (and hot!) showers and one big wave pool. Take a dip in the waters with temperatures that range between 27 °C to 40°C and soak in the rich minerals. This day is guaranteed to leave you re-energized for the rest of your visit in beautiful Budapest!

Expensive for what you got, purchase of towels and footwear way over priced. Facilities were overcrowded, not enough changing or locker space. Staff were not helpful at all. Would definitely not recommend for a relaxing spa experience.
