Head out of Rovaniemi, straight into the Taiga forest. Accompanied by your guide, you will explore the beauty of Lapland's forest. Learn more about the trees, plants, their properties, wildlife and survival skills such as how to make a fire.

At the start, you will receive some safety instructions and what to look out for. Halfway during the tour you can enjoy some refreshments and a typical Finnish barbecue snack. Your guide will show you how to build a fire as natives do, using a flint&steel and natural elements.

The tour operates all year round, so you can enjoy the beauty of each season. In the wintertime, you will enjoy huge snowdrifts, white trails and frozen trees straight out of a fairy tale. Temperatures may drop down to -30C! You will learn about the footprints you find in the snow left by wolves, lynx, wolverines, moose, reindeer, weasels, Arctic hare and many more.
