Being a pirate in the Red Sea is fun – it’s so packed with natural treasures!

The fun will begin as soon as you'll step on the boat as yours will be no ordinary pirate ship, but probably the most luxurious yacht in Sharm El Sheikh. Indeed, the ship was elected to host the Egypt president and the VIPs from around the world to experience the inauguration of the New Suez Canal in August 2015.

After being picked up at your hotel, your pirate ship captain will take you out to sea on his sailboat. You’ll enjoy three snorkelling stops in and around Ras Mohamed National Park and an onboard buffet lunch including seafood. After lunch, there’ll be another snorkel stop. Among the species, you might spot are Antiochus, Napoleon fish, parrot fish, stingrays and triggerfish and more than 200 species of coral and over 1,000 species of fish, everything about Ras Mohammed National Park screams: "Dive in"!

Not the fault of the individual operator but the sheer number of boats and people going to the same place did have an impact, both at white island and snorkelling, especially snorkelling as you had to be on constant lookout for other snorkellers, which meant you couldn't concentrate on the fish and enjoy the experience. As it's a national park, perhaps limiting boats and nu.bers of people should be seriously considered.

If you've never done anything similar you'll love this. We have done many boat trips, and this was good but nothing special. To compare, we done a pirate ship last year in turkey and it outshone this one massively. Also beware of the fee they drop on you at the marina, £5 per person.

Kind voelde zich misselijk,kwam onmiddellijk af met drank en eten 14 man personeel aan boord top mannen! zeer proper, gastvrij 100% lekker eten,ruim voldoende.1 min punt 1ste snorkelstop viel tegen, veel wind, woelige zee, vooral door massa boten. Vissen bleven weg, koraal en rif minder mooi. tip kleine groep in zee laten voorkomt drukte,paniek en zwemvliezen in het gezicht. Verder een super ervaring echt de moeite!

As of December 1, 2025, a mandatory Marine Fee of $10 per person (adult or child) is applied by the local authority for all boat trips. This fee is not included in the trip price and must be paid in cash at the marina on the day of the trip in USD or equivalent in EUR, GBP, or CHF

Please take some cash with you to pay the National Park fees. Payment in cash on the spot in local or foreign currency. The National Park fee is currently $5 per adult. Children under 6 years get free admission
