Cape Verde is a great location for star spotting, and this evening adventure for all the family includes stargazing with telescopes. Enjoy a welcome drink, buffet dinner accompanied by live local music, and then find out which planets and galaxies you can see in the sky above.

The star-studded night sky is best viewed close to the equator, where both hemispheres are visible. You'll arrive to a beach restaurant just as darkness draws in, and after a welcome drink you'll sit down for a barbecue buffet. Tuck into a feast of local dishes to the sounds of live music, and with the help of telescopes, lasers and tablets, you'll see the moon, planets and more.

With knowledgeable guides at hand, you'll learn how to recognise constellations at home. The tour ends with a 10-minute stroll on the sands, where you'll spot patterns with the naked eye. A unique yet educational way to spend a night in Sal.

A really enjoyable and different experience. The food was decent and two drinks per person. The guide was excellent and was really knowledgeable about the stars and planets. We were able to see Jupiter, Neptune and a nebula through the telescope, as well as the moon. At the end of the evening, the guide took photos of the moon through the telescope on our phones which looked fantastic. We would definitely recommend this experience.

The guides were very insightful and entertaining and the experience was really enjoyable, the food was good as well and found it very good value for money. There were small kids there, which made it more challenging (tantrums), and was unexpected when the experience said it was for ages 12+. Overall loved the experience. Would go back in a return trip to see what other planets we could see.

A completely different activity. Great explanation of the nights sky in a perfect location. Excellent friendly staff and food and drink was perfect. Good value for money.

Its was cloudy so no stargazing available. told there was a piano playing, no piano, restaurant was more of a beach shack. Starter was x1 piece of toast cut into 4 with a few chopped tomatoes that was between 2 people, pudding no choice no fruit just a small square of chocolate sponge (very small) with a little sauce on. Was told, several telescopes/ tablets, lasers To stargaze, No tablets/ lasers x1 telescope only. Person playing a guitar sad music only. Was incredibly disappointed no barbecue.
