What to expect

Take in the best of the Wye Valley in the Symmonds Yat area on this guided walking tour!

With your local expert guide, you'll walk 13km with a 300m ascent of the Wye Valley along various footpaths and tracks. As you begin your adventure, admire the views from Symmonds Yat Rock that look down upon the almost unbelievable Huntsham Oxbow. Make your way into the Wye Valley and see all the highlights this area has to offer such as King Arthurs Cave, Symmonds Yat, Biblin's Wibbly Wobbly Bridge, and the Iron Age hill fort which is said to be the last camp of King Vortigern!

You'll also get to explore lesser-known paths and the magnificent River Wye too. Your guide will share his knowledge and history of the area with you every step of the way. It will be truly fascinating and you'll leave the day with a strong sense of place, its long history and with some lovely new friends.

This is a skillfully designed day with plenty of interest for the young and the young at heart alike.
