What to expect
Named by Jacques Cousteau as the ‘world's aquarium', the Sea of Cortez is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts. This full day tour takes you from Los Cabos to a place where nature reigns supreme. You'll cruise in a catamaran to snorkel with sea lions around Isla Espiritu Santo and explore a drop in the ocean of this UNESCO Marine World Heritage Site.
A two-hour scenic drive to La Paz will whet your appetite for all the jaw-dropping scenes to come. Board a catamaran and enjoy a light breakfast, then glide on over to Isla Espiritu Santo, whose copper-coloured cliffs will signal your arrival. Watch for dolphins, manta rays and whales as you cruise the famed Sea of Cortez. Next, join a marine expert on a snorkelling tour to the sea lion colony.
Tropical fish, star fish and corals also abound, then hop back on board to cruise on over to a secluded bay. You'll drop anchor for lunch accompanied by an ice-cool drink and a refreshing dip, before making your way back to the shore.

- Entrance fee to Espiritu Santo National Park is not included and costs USD 20.00 per adult and USD 10.00 per child. This is to be paid on the day
- Sea lion sightings are not guaranteed
- Minimum age is 5 years
- You must remove footwear before boarding – this is a barefoot boat
- Swimming with sea lions is not permitted during June, July and August
- Please note, journey time to La Paz is around two hours each way, plus hotel pick-up and drop-off time
- Alcohol will only be served after snorkelling
- Not suitable for expectant mothers or guests with back problems
