BODY WORLDS & The Cycle of Life exhibition in Kempten

Over 58 million people globally have already experienced the exhibition. From July 2026, plastinator Dr. Gunther von Hagens and curator Dr. Angelina Whalley will unveil their latest exhibition in Kempten, delving into the human body's journey through life and death: BODY WORLDS & The Cycle of Life.

A diverse range of distinctive specimens, including numerous full-body plastinates, guide you through the intricacies of the human body. They elucidate the functions of individual organs and common ailments in a comprehensible manner. The spotlight is on the human body's evolution over time, from inception to old age.

BODY WORLDS vividly illustrates what you can do to preserve your health and maintain an optimal quality of life for as long as feasible. There are few experiences that so dramatically alter the way you perceive yourself!

All specimens showcased in the exhibition are authentic. They originate from individuals who, during their lifetimes, specified that their bodies should be made accessible post-mortem for the enlightenment of medical students and curious members of the public.
