During this 2-hour walking tour, you'll learn about Berlin Wall, you'll experience a time when Berlin was divided into the capitalist West and the communist East. Uncover the secrets of old communist Berlin with an expert guide. Explore life in East Germany, where neighbors were encouraged to spy on one another, and escape across the Berlin Wall was a deadly temptation.
Since Germany reunified, the signs of the old East have slowly but surely been disappearing. You can ask the guide, tough questions about the secret police, you can see where escape tunnels beneath the Wall were built, and experience the history of a country that no longer exists.
You'll visit Berlin Wall Memorial, the Church of Reconciliation, “Tunnel 57”, the Fall of the Berlin Wall, the “Death Strip”, The TV Tower, the “Ghost Stations”, the Stasi, and remains of the Berlin Wall.
