Enjoy a ceramic tiles workshop in Barcelona and have fun discovering this art. You'll be able to make two ceramic tiles, one for you and one for a community mural project. Visiting and working in a professional ceramics studio is a unique experience: you’ll discover the world of ceramics and try it for yourself.

You will learn about ceramics, different clays and decoration techniques. You'll have the chance to take out the aprons, clay and tools to get your hands dirty. Hands on, you will make and decorate two terracotta tiles.

Viktig information

Know in advance:

No prior ceramics experience is necessary, but please remember to arrive on time as key ceramic skills are taught at the beginning
The workshop will be held in English and Spanish by a bilingual instructor
Ceramics take a bit of time to dry. Tiles can be picked up or mailed after about 1 to 2 weeks (shipping is not included in the workshop and will depend on the destination). You can also leave your two tiles for the community mosaic and select another finished tile made to take home as a souvenir
Please note that the activity is easier with short fingernails
The experience is suitable for children ages 8 or older. Minimum one adult per child. No exceptions
The activity is accessible to people with limited mobility. There is a small step at the entrance required for historical preservation
If you are coming with children please inform the supplier in advance of the number and their ages so they can prepare accordingly
Worktables are height adjustable to accommodate special needs
