Day 1 – Tsavo East National Park
You’ll depart early from your Mombasa hotel and travel to Tsavo East National Park. Enter through Bachuma Gate and enjoy a game drive across the park’s vast plains, known for their red elephants and diverse wildlife. You’ll admire views of the Taita Hills and Aruba Dam before lunch at Ashnil Aruba Lodge. After some relaxation, head out on an afternoon game drive before dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 2 – Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary
You’ll start with an early morning game drive and breakfast before travelling to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. Check in at Salt Lick Safari Lodge and enjoy lunch overlooking its famous waterhole. In the afternoon, explore the sanctuary on a game drive, looking out for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes and a variety of birdlife. You’ll return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3 – Return to Mombasa
You’ll set off on a 6:30 am game drive, with the chance to admire Mount Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped peak on a clear morning. Return to the lodge for breakfast before driving back to Mombasa, where you’ll arrive at your hotel in the early afternoon.
