Visit two must-see places in Avignon with this combined ticket including entrances to the Palais des Papes and the Pont d'Avignon.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Palais des Papes dates back to the 14th century and is the largest Gothic palace in Europe. With the included HistoPad, you'll step into the Middle Ages through immersive reconstructions that help bring the site's spaces and stories to life. As you explore, take in the scale of the palace and, at the end of your visit, head up to the terrace for panoramic views over Avignon.

The visit is supported by a range of educational tools, including interactive models, documentary films, explanatory panels and signage, offering insight into both daily life and major historical events connected to the palace.

Your experience continues at the Pont Saint-Bénezet, better known as the Pont d'Avignon. Built in the 12th century, the bridge originally spanned the Rhône with 22 arches. After centuries of damage caused by floods and conflicts, only four arches remain today. An audio guide accompanies your visit, sharing the story of this iconic monument and its long history of construction, destruction and preservation.

Know in advance:

Temporary update (valid from May 5 to 29, 2026): due to the preparation of numerous cultural events, and in order to preserve your experience of the monument, the Palais des Papes is adapting the tour itinerary. During this period, visitors will enter and leave via the Benedict XII gardens, located at the rear of the monument. HistoPad tablets, lockers or baby-carrier services won't be available
The combined ticket is valid until the following evening with only one entry per site. The Pont d'Avignon can be visited whenever you like for 24 hours after the barcode ticket has been scanned at the Palais des Papes
A multimedia audio guide is available in 12 languages: Chinese, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Russian, Korean
Free entrance for children under 8, job-seekers and disabled visitors
The rooms closed to visitors are the chamberlain's and notary's rooms

Able to walk past queues Palais - Make sure you pick up the interactive iPad for the tour (various languages) and ask if you think you're missing anything. Pont video downstairs is good and take the audio.

Non réception du second billet cumulé. Temps perdu à l'accueil pour expliquer notre soucis. Impossible de retrouver le second billet. Heureusement un responsable nous laisse tout de même entrer après 20 minutes d'explications. Pas facile de s'y retrouver dans tous les méandres de votre application, j'aurais du prendre mes billets directement au Palais des Papes.
