Ik ben tevreden over het gebruik van de lokale SIM kaart voor VAE en de prijs die hiervoor betaald moet worden. Maar ik ben zeker niet tevreden over de service t.a.v. de "pick-up" van de kaart. De tijd tussen aankomst en (via TUI geboekte) transfer is te kort om kaart op het vliegveld op te halen door de rij in de winkel. Als alternatief kan de kaart ook nog opgehaald bij een lokale winkel van Etisalat. Ondanks het volgnummer systeem werden lokale klanten eerder geholpen. Lange wachttijd.

I ordered an eSIM (as I wanted to keep my home number in cad so needed it for online banking, WhatsApp, and other authentication. However when I arrived the issue me with a physical SIM card, which I realised after they gave it to me. Initially they said they could not change it to an eSIM then. It took a good 10-15 minutes of back and forth and two different companies to get it changed. Initially their response was that it was my fault and it was too late to correct. they should ask beforehand

Sim-card voor Dubai. Prima geregeld, bij aankomst bagage ophalen en zodra je de bagagehal uitgaat zit daar kitmytrip. Voucher inleveren en de simcard wordt door hen in je telefoon geplaatst. Genoeg data en ook nog wat extra belminuten. Geen zorgen over hoge kosten bij je Nederlandse abonnement.
