Combine a trip to one of TV's most recognisable filming locations with Croatian food fit for a king, and you're in for an epic day out. On this trip, you'll visit a family-run farm to taste top Croatian treats, then re-live your favourite scenes from Game of Thrones at Klis Fortress – featured as the city of Mereen on the hit HBO show.

Artisan food producers like Stella Croatica have helped Croatian cuisine come out of the shadow of its Italian neighbour. Take a tour of this family-run farm estate for a Dalmatian olive oil tasting session, followed by typical sweets, spices, spreads and jams. There are even Croatian beauty products to sample, too.

Then, be transported to TV land at Klis Fortress – also known as Mereen in the epic Game of Thrones series. Perched on a sheer cliff face above Split, this former Ottoman stronghold offers great views over the Dalmatian Islands and the Adriatic Sea – or to fans, Slavers Bay and the Dothraki Sea.

Zudem wurde davon ausgegangen, dass der Transfer zur Festung Klis und zurück beinhaltet wäre. Es stand sogar ein Shuttle vor dem Landgut hierzu (5 Minutes to Castle Klis)! Man musste sich jedoch selbst um den Transfer kümmern. Das war vor der Tour nicht ersichtlich und ist auch nicht zufriedenstellend. Auch der Preis für Kinder für die Tour ist nicht gerechtfertigt.
