The local operator acknowledges the EU Air Safety List update restricting Tanzanian-registered air carriers from operating within EU airspace. This restriction is based on oversight concerns with the Tanzanian civil aviation authority, not necessarily the individual carriers' operational safety records. For their operations within Tanzanian airspace, selected Tanzanian partner carriers go through an internal safety risk assessment and audit process. Their established in-house oversight includes regular audits, operator performance reviews, and continuous monitoring to ensure compliance with their safety management system

Our game driver William was an absolute amazing driver and he was so friendly and made sure we felt safe and comfortable and our guide Fabian was so knowledgeable and also very lovely. Whoever has them on there game drives are very lucky! Love Anita and Mia

Excellent customer service by Beach & Safari tour operator. The package is extreemly well run and organised. The safari itself was incredible - and we saw so much. Guides were fantastic.

The overall experience on the safari was fantastic thanks to the brilliant guides,but this was ruined by the very disappointing and disorganised chaos that went on at the airport we were told to be reception at 4 am but did not get picked up until 4 30am then when we arrived at the airport we had to wait until 7.50 until we fly to Tanzania airport then it was great so maybe a later start would be better as this was expensive experience

A very enjoyable 2‑day safari with a knowledgeable guide and an authentic African overnight stay by Beach & Safari. Meals were good, though drinks were not included and quite expensive. The bush walk requires long clothing and sturdy shoes, but this wasn’t mentioned, so we couldn’t join. The boat trip was rather minimal. Overall a good experience with clear points for improvement.

Admin from the minute we paid was really poor Had to rebook as I was getting e mails meant for someone in Italy and sent passports twice and still had stress of sending them again a day.before we went. Once we got there it was brilliant fantastic and knowledgeable guides and great jeeps ect. Hotel was perfect and bushwalk in the morning was a unforgettable experience. Water safari was weakest part of the trip. Would recommend to anyone and animals and guides were amazing 👏 Well done to all 🤌

Ja. Denne safarien gjennomføres av Beach & Safari Aviation Ltd. Safariturer i bil ledes av erfarne sjåfører som kjenner Nyerere nasjonalpark godt. Buskturen er guidet. Båtsafarien følger faste ruter på Rufiji-elven. Flyvningene gjennomføres av tanzaniske flyselskaper som gjennomgår interne sikkerhetsvurderinger og revisjoner. Barn under to år har ikke adgang.

Du vil være borte fra hotellet i én natt (natten på Africa Safari Selous, som ligger ved grensen til nasjonalparken). Gi beskjed til hotellets resepsjon på forhånd. Du trenger ikke å avbestille reservasjonen. Det er nok å fortelle dem at du vil være borte i én natt. Rommet ditt og eiendelene dine blir stående som vanlig.

Tansanias tørrsesong varer fra juni til oktober, når vegetasjonen blir tynnere og dyrelivet samler seg rundt Rufiji-elven, noe som gjør det lettere å få øye på dyrene. Januar og februar er også tørre måneder og gode for dyreobservasjon. Regntiden (mars til mai) bringer kraftigere regn, men parken holder åpent hele året.

Det er en fordel å være i moderat god fysisk form. Safarien inkluderer en guidet busktur til fots gjennom parken, som innebærer å gå i ujevnt terreng. Safariturer med bil og båtsafari foregår sittende. Hvis du er komfortabel med å gå i omtrent en time på flatt til kupert underlag, vil dette ikke være noe problem for deg.
