Discover the Stockholm Archipelago by kayak, paddling through calm waters between small islands lined with colourful wooden cottages. The experience combines time on the water with moments to relax, including a traditional Swedish fika by the sea.
You can choose the tour-only option and meet your guide at Skärgårdens Kanotcenter on Resarö, or opt for a tour with hotel pick-up from your accommodation in Stockholm.
Upon arrival, your guide will outline the route for the day. A short safety briefing and paddling introduction on land will prepare you before setting off into the archipelago. The kayaking route is adapted to the day's weather and wind conditions. You may paddle along the shores of Resarö, with views of Vaxholm Fortress, the Ytterby mine and waterfront cottages, or explore the quieter waters of the Bogesund Nature Reserve.
Midway through the tour, you'll stop on an island to enjoy a coffee break with pastries in a natural setting. There's also time for a swim if you wish, or to relax and take in the views, before heading back to the kayak centre.
