Every year, millions of visitors from around the world walk through the gate bearing a fallacious inscription: 'Arbeit Macht Frei' following the same path as prisoners over half a century ago.

Leave Krakow for a day to visit the Auschwitz and Birkenau monuments. Auschwitz was one of the largest concentration camps built by the Nazis during World War II. The remains of the camps are currently inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List and serve as the most important Holocaust memorials, evidence of the terror that occurred during the war.

From the center of Krakow, an English-speaking driver will take you to the town of Oswiecim, where the museums are located. Then, accompanied by a licensed guide, you will tour the museum and memorial sites, including the former Auschwitz and Birkenau concentration camps.
