The program for this choral and orchestral concert features two remarkable works from the choral-orchestral repertoire: the rarely performed Dona nobis pacem by the English symphonist Ralph Vaughan Williams (1872–1958), and the Messa di gloria, an early work from 1880 by the later world-renowned opera composer Giacomo Puccini.
For the first time, the Mozarteum University Choir will collaborate in concert with the Bad Reichenhaller Philharmoniker, a professional orchestra based just outside Salzburg. The performance will be conducted by Univ. Prof. Jörn Andresen.
