Starting at the monument of Anne Frank, your guide will shine a light on how this young girl became the symbol of the holocaust in the Netherlands. Then stroll along the Amsterdam canals while your guide tells you some misconceptions about Amsterdam during World War II.

Reaching the Royal Palace on the Dam you will hear more about the role of the Royal Family during WWII. Travel towards the former Jewish district where the Nazi’s horribly carried out the Holocaust in Amsterdam.

Finally, stop at the former Theater of Holland, the Hollandsche Schouwburg, which served as a deportation center for Jews awaiting transport to the camps. Today the remains of this theater serve as the National Holocaust Memorial.
