Do you ever wonder about the secrets kept by historical sights? Discover the most curious ones on this self-guided walk! How? By solving location-based riddles you will unlock directions to interesting spots, like the former site of the world’s highest wooden structure (back in the XVIII century), fortified walls and vibrant markets. Along the (cobbled) way you’ll also learn about crusading knights and… political cats on the rooftops.

This playful walk across Riga sharpens your senses and encourages you to appreciate the most wonderful – and often hidden – details around you. Whether you know the Old Town or just start exploring here, this experience gives you a perspective on discovery that will inspire your curiosity wherever you go next.

Local wonders you’ll discover on this walk include the House of Blackheads, once a guild for unmarried merchants, shipowners, and foreigners; Three Brothers, the oldest complex of dwelling houses in the city; the Dome Square, surrounded by impressive monuments; the Cat House (not what you think!); the beautiful St Peter’s Church.
