Horseback riding along Boa Vista's beaches is as exhilarating as it gets. You can choose from an hour-long horse ride for beginners, a 90-minute ride including a trot or gallop for more experienced riders, or even a romantic couple's ride that includes up to 30 minutes at walking pace and time to share a bottle of wine atop a sand dune. You'll be teamed up with your horse down at the stables and given all the equipment you need to ride off into the distance. It's great for adults and kids alike, so the whole family can join in on this one or make it a romantic ride for two.

The riding experience was poor. The riding guide was disinterested and unfriendly; he couldn’t speak any English apart from perhaps ‘hello’ and ‘goodbye’, and didn’t really adapt to my riding ability. It was quite clear that the horses weren’t in the best of condition, and one of them was even injured – it had an open graze on its leg.

The riding experience was perfect for someone like myself who has never been on a horse before. Being on a beach made it more special. The track between the road & the beach, where we started and ended the ride, is a bit grim (it’s wasteland), but not sure much can be done about that.

The guys are great with both the horses and adults. First time on a horse and felt so safe, booked again. Great experience

The boys that handle the horses were very good . I haven’t been horse riding in over 5 years but they made me feel like it was yesterday ( when I was riding my horse at the farm). The walk on the beach was amazing . The view fantastic. Be gentle with the horses as they do feel your emotions. Overall I would 100% recommend this experience.
