Hesteridning

This was a wonderful experience of jungle, road and beach riding on horseback, with fresh coconut water from a coconut half way around. The horses are healthy. The horses do canter sometimes which can be scary for those who aren’t used to it but the guides take control when wanted. Make sure you feel secure in your stirrups before you leave or they won’t sort it after leaving. Photos are taken but cost over $105 which is too much to ask for, they know they are nice so you feel loss if you don’t.

I loved the actual horse riding and I didn’t feel like the horses were just used and abused, the staff knew the horse’s name and that means a lot coming from an animal lover. What I didn’t like was at the end it was very pushed to buy photos, fridge magnet and the mamajuanna. I get that this is cultural but with them being our only transport home, it felt like we HAD to buy the package which was $146 which is ludicrous.

At the welcome meeting you where asked if you'd ridden before , i have but only as a novice i was in turn given a horse that wanted to go quickly, in hindsight i should of said i hadn't ridden before and been given a slower horse to ride, during the ride they take photos and videos at the end of the ride they ask for 120usd for the images and videos which i feel is expensive.

Something new for us. First time on a horse. Very well looked after

This is a great excursion. The ranch pick you up and take you directly to the activity which you start straight away, there is no waiting around and the staff are all fully conversant with you. At the end of the excursion there is no pressure to buy their photographs, they even let you take your own then they take you straight back to the resort. Most of the ride is along the white sand beaches it really is incredible and very relaxing!
