No trip to Cairns is complete without an adventure to the Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation.
Start with a pickup at your hotel in Cairns, Palm Cove, and Port Douglas. You'll then be driven along the scenic Great Barrier Reef Drive to the award-winning Wildlife Habitat Port Douglas. Once you've met your new Australian furry friends at the Wildlife Habitat, you will cross the Daintree River on the cable ferry to the Daintree Rainforest, where you get to explore the world's oldest rainforest and learn about its flora and fauna.
Next, visit Cape Tribulation Beach and enjoy a delicious lunch there. Once you've relaxed at the beach, head to Alexandra Lookout to enjoy beautiful views of the Daintree Rainforest. Then, board the Daintree River cruise and possibly meet Estaurine Crocodiles and birds in the mangrove ecosystem. Once the tour is over, you will be dropped off at your hotels in Cairns, Palm Cove, or Port Douglas.
