Discover a metropolis full of contrasts, where you can see the scars of the past and the drive for renewal. You will have a chance to try paçe me pilaf, a thick and spicy meat soup. Paçe is made with less noble but very tasty parts of cattle and is usually served with rice. Then discover fergese and qofte. Fergese is a typical Tirana dish with roasted peppers, tomato, onions, cheese, and yogurt. An excellent option also for vegetarians. The qofte are Albanian meatballs, made with minced meat, spices, and cheese.
