In the Colosseum, explore the second ring, where you can take in panoramic views of the square below. You'll also get a bird's-eye view of the large base, the remains of the colonnade and the walls of the largest Roman temple dedicated to Venus. See the street of the Imperial Fora on one side and the Arches of Constantine and Titus, the Palatine Hill and Via Triumphalis on the other side.
