Er gaat niets boven achterover leunen en de zeewind voelen terwijl de zon je lichaam verwarmt. En als luieren op het dek jouw idee van een perfecte dag is, dan is deze boottocht rond Thassos echt iets voor jou. Je brengt een dag door met genieten van het uitzicht en tussen de zwemstops door smul je van een verse barbecuelunch aan boord.

Eerst ga je naar de haven waar je boot al klaar ligt. Daarna vaar je de Egeïsche Zee op. De kapitein volgt de kustlijn, zodat je uitkijkt over de bergen, kliffen en kleine vissersdorpen. Rond het middaguur gooit hij het anker uit bij een afgelegen strand dat je alleen vanaf zee bereikt.

Je plonst in het heldere water, relaxt op het strand of zet je snorkelmasker op om het leven onder water te ontdekken. En op het dek smul je van een barbecuelunch. Daarna heb je nog tijd om te zonnen of te zwemmen voordat je weer terugvaart. De kapitein stopt onderweg nog op andere plekken om te zwemmen.

A really lovely trip out and explore of some of the beaches in the south of the island. Plenty of opportunities to swim. Really grateful for TUI and the boat staff for looking after our child’s dietary requirements for the bbq onboard. Sometimes it was hard to hear what the captain was saying over the PA. All in all an excellent day trip well worth doing.

Cruise itself was excellent highlight of our holiday. No safety instructions given but the rep Jean-Paul is a gem. Going around talking to guests letting us know what's happening next and about the scenery etc. Food was excellent everyone had the very best day. Happy smiling faces.

Due to wind the trip had to be re-routed. We were only told this once we were already onboard so there was no option not to go. The TUI rep didn't communicate with anyone the whole time. We had a 2 hour journey to a small crowded beach where 4 other boats also pitched up - hardly the secluded coves we had paid for. I gave a rating of 3 for staff as the boat crew worked really hard, I would give them a higher score but the TUI rep was so poor. Value for money got 3 because the lunch was ok.

The ride was pleasant and the swims very good in places and poor in others (marble beach is overrated and had a Crane and a digger on the side of the beach, not so picturesque). We found that the barbecue right at the top of the stairs where punters climb to the upper desk was a health and safety hazard as fat spits onto you as you climb. Also, a hot lump of meat fell nearly on top of our heads when they were cooking it and we were descending the stairs. would add more but not enough characters

Great day out, sailing from the old port in Thassos town to several bays in the south including Marble Beach and Makryammos. Each swim stop was around 40 minutes, and a bbq lunch was provided on board. Great crew, great atmosphere, great way to see the coastline of Thassos.
