Er zijn twee manieren om dit avontuur op de berg Ainos te beleven. Bij de middagoptie rijd je met een 4x4 naar de hoogste top van het eiland, slingerend door zwarte dennenbossen, met tussenstops bij uitzichtpunten, en je sluit af met een wijnproeverij en een lunch bij wijnhuis Vasilakis. Of kies voor de zonsondergangoptie, waarbij je tijdens het ‘gouden uur' van prachtige uitzichten geniet, voordat je bij het wijnhuis lokale wijnen, olijfolie en likeuren proeft, vergezeld van een lichte meze.

The whole experience was amazing and in particular Harris was outstanding!! He was courteous and very professional but also very funny, he completely made our day and was constantly involving our 15year old daughter and her friend. I wouldn’t change anything, it was truly special.

When we booked this experience my wife was reluctant due to being nervous of heights. The TUI rep insisted it would be fine so we booked for both my wife and myself. When the guide arrived he asked if we were both OK with heights and the trip up was very rough with roadside drops. My Wife said she was not happy with this and in discussion with the guide it was decided that Only I would go on the trip. I think the trip was fantastic but disappointed that we paid for my Wife on TUI reps advice.

The guide was very informative and clearly enjoyed his job. The taverna was OK, but I feel we could have had our meal somewhere with a bit more atmosphere

Pick up & drop off great, driver skills &safety spot on felt very confident. The actual mountain & forest Park spectacular wonderful experience. Visit to winery perfunctory (though the people pleasant and wine nice but expensive as with the Olive oil). Lunch provided......my wife is vegetarian... lunch .... peas and boiled potatoes?, the other option beef stifado ..result for me? a day on the toilet. Did not really appreciate the drivers hints that a tip to him should be forthcoming.

Just as about to go to rooms, taxi turned up, Eventually after ferry trip. Tour driver did not want to take us, because wife uses a stick to walk. He got on the phone, Eventually wanting me to sign to say not hold responsibility. Attitude was disgusting and we decided not going to spend a day with a rude, arrogant guide and driver. There's more to say.

The whole experience was amazing and in particular Harris was outstanding!! He was courteous and very professional but also very funny, he completely made our day and was constantly involving our 15year old daughter and her friend. I wouldn’t change anything, it was truly special.
