Charming villages, cultural traditions and beautiful Balkan scenery are what this tour is all about. In a powerful 4x4, you'll zoom along roads, tracks and trails of the countryside to discover real, rural and authentic Bulgaria. There's a typical lunch included.
The action begins in the scenic surrounds of Strandja Nature Park – Bulgaria's largest protected area. Here, we'll hike for around 45 minutes through the pristine forest, home to a rich variety of rare plants, birds and wildlife, before heading to Leyarnika Cave.
After a typical lunch in Mladezhko village, we'll make our way to the open-air ethnographic museum for a look at local history and culture. Heading back to base, there's a final stop at a waterfall for some time to relax.
