Croisière à la voile sur les hauts lieux de Thassos

The catamaran is spectacular. Ditto the seating on stylish bean bag chairs/beds. The scenery and swim stops were brilliant. I read on other reviews that supposedly the lunch was average. For us it was great (stuffed pepperoni with a small salad, cheese spread and bread). The aperitif (Ouzo) was welcome. Only two small criticisms: The gangway is a bit fragile, but OK if you have normal fitness. The captain’s assistant basically didn’t speak English.

This was a well organised trip from start to finish. Five of us picked up and delivered back to the hotel in a timely fashion. Erica our skipper spoke excellent English. She was adaptable to our needs and did everything she could to make the trip a success. Good light lunch with drinks. A beautiful trip around the island with plenty of opportunities to stop and swim.

Good transfers, just dropped at port - collection from port just wait for taxi, given card in case we needed it Captain was a bit gruff and did not explain much to us - we were only English on board. Assumed we had the correct vessel, as was the "only one here" and no checking of booking was made Trip was good, but had been advised by TUI Rep we would go as far as Paradise Beach, but only Skala Potamias as other vessels Fortunately we have been on similar trips in Greece, so went with the flow!

It was an incredible experience, very relaxing, delicious food, great captain who was very knowledgable as he was from the island, we really loved the whole day.

The catamaran was beautiful. Maria, captains one and only ship mate was lovely. However, on such a large vessel one person assisting captain not sufficient. The captain offered no commentary pointing out places of interest during the voyage. There was no background music. Nobody wanted blaring sounds a bit of background Greek music would have been very welcome. The food was questionable, very basic served in polystyrene containers, not enjoyable. Overall completely overpriced & disappointing.

The day was amazing! We were able to stop off at four swimming spots - unfortunately we did not stop at Marble beach as the weather became very unsettled. The boat was very comfortable with a great lunch.
