Although Arches and Canyonlands National Parks are separated by just a valley, they offer very different landscapes and experiences.

Canyonlands National Park provides a contrasting setting. Starting from Moab, the route leads to the Island in the Sky district and continues along Grand View Point Road. Here, you'll encounter landmarks unlike those in Arches, including Upheaval Dome and the site often referred to as Utah's 'belly button', along with the different theories surrounding its formation. For those who enjoy walking, the Aztec Butte Trail offers views of ancestral Puebloan granaries. At the same time, Canyonlands also caters to visitors with limited mobility, with several scenic viewpoints that are easy to access.
