Embark on a journey from the heart of Hanoi's Old Quarter, setting off for Pu Luong. A scenic four-hour drive takes you through charming villages, offering glimpses of local life. Upon reaching Pu Luong around midday, savour a meal before settling into your accommodation. The afternoon promises an adventurous 10km off-road trek through streams and mountain trails leading to Kho Muong, a secluded village housing Pu Luong's largest cave. The hike continues to Bang village, famous for its terraced rice fields, before returning to the hotel in the evening. Here, unwind over dinner and join an optional Vietnamese cooking class.
The following day begins with breakfast, fuelling you for a full-day 19km trek through multiple villages. Traverse through the verdant paddy fields of the communities residing in Uoi, Lan and Dong. The trail then meanders through jungle paths to Long and Doc villages, culminating at the spectacular Hieu waterfall. Enjoy lunch, take a refreshing swim and delve into local village life. Return to your hotel by vehicle or bicycle, where dinner awaits, along with another optional cooking class.
On the final day, after breakfast, take a leisurely 2.5km walk to a riverside village. Cross a suspension bridge to admire giant bamboo water wheels and soak in the rural scenery. Experience a bamboo raft on the river, followed by a short trek back. After checking out and enjoying lunch, return to Hanoi in the evening. The tour concludes upon arrival at your hotel.
