Get ready to discover one of the most famous events in Portugal, the Madeira Atlantic Festival which sets the beginning of the summer season on the island and is considered one of the most tourist entertainment events. During this experience, you will embark on a boat departing from Madeira and enjoy a 1 hour and a half trip in the Atlantic Ocean where you'll have the opportunity to admire the lights of the Madeiran seaside and the stunning colors of the fireworks of 3 companies from different countries specializing in fireworks that compete for a trophy awarded by the public vote. The boat trip itself was lovely, but the £20 transfer from the hotel to the port was expensive and very badly organised. The rep didn't want to speak to us when we tried to explain that one person from our party wasn't coming. So, it made us worry the reps didnt care who was on the bus.. We also needed to rush to the boat as the bus for some reason went back to our hotel before we finally went to the port. So, it was rushed and stressful experience. Not easy for someone with mobility issues
