Despite holding a skip-the-line ticket for St. Peter's Basilica, all visitors must undergo a mandatory security check which may involve a brief wait. However, priority access can significantly reduce your waiting time. While standard entry lines can take up to 3 hours during peak periods, with this service the waiting time is generally reduced to approximately 40 minutes to 1 hour

Children under 18 must bring a valid ID and must be accompanied by an adult

Access to Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, Vatican Gardens and St Peter's Basilica is permitted only to visitors dressed appropriately. No sleeveless blouses, no miniskirts, no shorts, no hats allowed. Knees and shoulders must be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements
