Visit three UNESCO World Heritage sites in just one day on this Pompeii, Amalfi Coast and Positano day trip from Rome. Your friendly, English-speaking guide will meet you right in the heart of Rome and whisk you away for an escape from the city’s buzz.

Your first stop is Pompeii. Skip the queues and step straight into the ancient Roman world. Wander through the villas, bathhouses, restaurants and theatres frozen in time by the volcanic eruption, as your guide brings it all to life with their insights and stories.

After some free time to grab lunch and snap a few photos, you’ll cruise along the Amalfi Coast – think winding cliffside roads, pastel-coloured villages and endless sea views. You’ll stop in Positano, home to postcard-worthy views and a laidback, Mediterranean vibe. Here, you’ll have time to dip into boutique shops, take in the vistas, and savour some limoncello – a local speciality.

Our guide Chiara and our driver were both great. We felt very safe on the bus and chiara was a great host. But the trip to Positano was not at all what we expected. We were hoping to visit the beach but when we arrived it was all private beaches which were charging €45 per person to go onto the sand. It was extremely busy too. I would not recommend at all if you are even slightly non able bodies. Pompeii was excellent.

Het bezoek aan de plaatsen is fantastisch, de informatie die je erbij krijgt ook. Echter mag er gewaarschuwd worden dat je meer dan de helft van de tijd(van 8.30 tot 21 uur ) in de bus zit. Ik persoonlijk zou aanbevelen om gewoon op vakantie te gaan in die regio want je kan er zwemmen, shoppen, lekker eten en een stuk geschiedenis aanschouwen.

Our guide for the day was Francesca and she was brilliant. She had a lot of knowledge and recommendations for places to go on the trip and also in Rome. However, I do wish we could of had more time in Positano but it was an all round fantastic trip.

The tour operator reserves the right to refuse participation on its tours to any guest under the influence of drugs or alcohol or to any guest whose behaviour is disorderly or poses a threat to other guests or staff
Due to heavy weekend traffic on the Amalfi Coast during peak season, you may visit Sorrento instead of Positano on Saturdays and Sundays between 1st June and 11th September, and also on 15th August, a public holiday in Italy
In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the itinerary may be adjusted to ensure your safety and enjoyment
This tour ends at around 8:40pm at Rome Termini train station

Remember to bring:

Children under the age of 18 may be asked to show ID at the site entrance, so please bring it with you on the tour

Comfortable shoes, as the tour involves a fair amount of walking
A hat, sunscreen and a bottle of water as some sites have limited shade and can get quite hot
