In just two hours, you'll have the chance to discover the history of the castle, its magnificent architecture and paintings. You'll be introduced to the Emperor's burial place, the papal apartment and the treasure room. Admire the beautiful sculptures along Sant'Angelo Bridge, also known as the Bridge of Angels and conclude your experience by taking pictures of the city from the castle's panoramic terrace.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the castel and it's history and links to the pope and the vatican It was extremely hot the day we went and the guide was mindful of this trying to explain as much as possible whilst in shaded areas so we were not over exposed

Ze gaf de rondleiding met veel enthousiasme en ze was supervriendelijk voor iedereen. Ze controleerde steeds of iedereen mee was en ook of we alles begrepen. Bijkomende vragen stellen was geen probleem. Een echte aanrader qua uitstap én gids.

The tour was shorter than stated. Also, the guide rushed us through the castle and then gave us a half hour break to go to the bathroom and get something to eat. I would have rather slowed down through the castle and spent more time learning about it.

I thought the tour was great, I loved the Castle, the details and the history. The guide was very competent, explained everything with enthusiasm, has a great sense of humour. But, I didn't realize that we went to any particular area for the Secret Tour. So I suggest changing the name of the tour.
