Start in Pisa, where you’ll explore the UNESCO-listed Piazza dei Miracoli, home to the Cathedral, Baptistery and the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. Enjoy free time to take photos, admire Pisan-Romanesque architecture and stroll through the historic streets.

Continue through the Tuscan hills to San Gimignano, a beautifully preserved medieval town known as the “Manhattan of the Middle Ages” for its skyline of ancient towers. Depending on the option selected, enjoy a traditional Tuscan lunch with wine pairing before exploring cobbled lanes, artisan shops and charming squares at your own pace.

Your journey ends in Siena, one of Tuscany’s most captivating hilltop towns. Travel through the Chianti region before discovering Siena’s pedestrian historic centre, rich in art, traditions and panoramic corners. With the guided walking tour option, follow a local guide through medieval streets to Piazza del Campo, home of the historic Palio horse race, and admire the Siena Cathedral.

Travellers should have a moderate physical fitness level
This tour involves uphill and downhill walking routes in hilltop villages. Therefore, unfortunately, it is not suitable for people with wheelchairs or with impaired mobility

Know in advance:

Wi-Fi is complimentary on board the bus, keeping you connected throughout your journey; connection quality may vary depending on the area the vehicle is traveling through, and coverage may occasionally be unstable
For groups up to 8 pax, the tour escort service could be replaced with an English-speaking driver-guide service, while maintaining unchanged the entire program of the excursion
Appropriate clothing is recommended to visit places of worship
It is mandatory to arrive at the meeting point at the mentioned check in time. In case of delay it will not be possible to join the tour, nor to have a refund or reschedule the tour
Once the audio guides are handed over before the guided tour, they become the full responsibility of the customer. In case of loss, a fee of €80 will be charged
If option 1 or 2 selected: Guided visit in Siena with professional local guide (April to October monolingual guided visits in English and Spanish)
If semi-independent option 3 selected: From November to March 26th, Chianti wine tasting experience including a selection of local Tuscan specialties (cured meats, cheeses and bruschetta), with the option to purchase additional dishes on site
Sample tasting menu: appetizer with a selection of local cured meats (prosciutto, finocchiona and salami), bruschetta with olive oil and truffle oil, pecorino cheese with balsamic vinegar and a green salad, followed by penne with traditional meat ragù and parmesan (or lasagna), and finished with a jam tart served with sweet dessert wine. A vegetarian option is available upon request
