Departing Melbourne, you'll enjoy panoramic views of the city and Port Phillip Bay as you cross the Westgate Bridge. Pass by Victoria's second-largest city, Geelong, as you head to the Surf Coast with its enchanting beachside towns and powerful swells. A brief stop in Anglesea allows a walk along the beautiful Anglesea River before continuing the scenic journey along the Great Ocean Road.

The Great Ocean Road offers breathtaking coastal scenery, with new vistas around every bend. You'll make scenic stops, including the Great Ocean Road Memorial Arch for photos. After a short trip, you'll visit Lorne (Summer only) for a lunch break.

At Kennet River, a side trip into the eucalyptus forest guarantees numerous koala sightings in their native habitat. Travel through the Otway Ranges to the Shipwreck Coast and Port Campbell National Park, where Loch Ard Gorge is your first stop. Hear the legend of the Loch Ard and explore the gorge and rock formations.

Next, visit Gibson Steps for the opportunity to descend to Gibson’s Beach, known for its powerful swells. As the sun sets, a stop in Princetown allows for dinner purchases.

As the sun nears the horizon, be awestruck by the Twelve Apostles' majestic monoliths. Witness the landscape transform in the evening light. On the return journey, reflect on this amazing day and enjoy the illuminated city view while crossing the Westgate Bridge back to your inner city accommodation.
