This was far too busy. I’ve never seen a tourist attraction so busy. You couldn’t enjoy the gardens as there was just too many people. The food was outrageously expensive, queues for the toilets were ridiculous. Very little for children also, a small park but it was so busy. The boat initially was lovely and the guide and bus driver great. Took 2 hours to get there due to traffic. The bus was absolutely packed with damaged seats. Not a fun day out like we’d hoped!

Know in advance:

infants (age 0-2) may join the tour for free - they must sit on the parents lap (they can not occupy a seat)
the bus ride to Keukenhof Gardens from Amsterdam takes between 40-55 minutes
your bus will make its first stop at the sightseeing cruise. After the boat tour you will continue to a Windmill for a guided visit. From here, a short shuttle ride will take you to Keukenhof
visit to a working windmill is approximately 30-minutes
shuttle buses depart Keukenhof every 30-minutes from 9.00am to 6.30pm (last departure)
visit the Keukenhof park at your own leisure - there is no minium or maximum duration as long as your on the last bus
during your bus ride an informational video will play in English with Spanish subtitles

Board your shuttle bus to Keukenhof at 'This is Holland', Overhoeksplein 51, opposite Central Station. To get there, take the free 24/7 ferry behind Central Station to Buiksloterweg (5 minutes), on the north bank of the IJ. The travel time is 3 minutes.
