If high temperatures make you feel like a fish out of water and the cold doesn’t scare you, the XtraCold Icebar is the place for you! It is one of the coolest bars in Amsterdam, in name and fact! To build it, over 30 tons of ice have been used for everything inside the ice bar, from the walls to the counter, from tables to chairs, and even the glasses!
The temperature inside the bar is always kept at -10°C, but don’t be afraid, at the entrance you will be provided with appropriate thermal clothing! Inside you will experience the thrill of being in the cold.
The bar consists of two parts: a 'warm' lounge and the ice bar itself, which is located at the back. When you enter the Amsterdam Icebar you’ll receive three free tokens, two silver and one golden. You can exchange the golden token in the warm bar and pick a cocktails, beer wine or soft drink from the menu. Inside the frozen bar use your silver tokens to order beer, shots or orange juice, served in glasses made of ice!
