Overall experience was very good. Advertised as a English trip however, only 4 x English on bus remainng being mostly Spanish/French. Therfore we had to just absorb the visits and interpret ourselves. The visit to Higuey and coffee plantation being the highlights of the day..

The chocolate factory was a waste of time as it was a real chocolate factory. Nobody showed us how chocolate is actually made in the factory. Only explained. I am sure there are better cigar factories aswell. The lunch in the mountains was superb and the flora and fauna was amazing. The host was brilliant. The church was amazing too!! The river boat could have been a bit longer and less people as there were too many people not enough seats and no safety was explained incase of emergency.

Did not enjoy the boat trip. Boring. Chocolate stop was not informative, sugar cane Field was a waste of time unless you are a teacher and want to visit school. Still have no idea how super cane plantation works. Farm was OK but language was a barrier to understanding chocolate & coffee. Church was a little interesting but know idea how it was built & by whom. Overall waste of time & money
