The time spent in chichen itza was great and our guide was excellent. The lunch was only OK although there was plenty of it. One of the staff outside the restaurant was grumpy and said we were not allowed to take our own bottles of water into the restaurant so there was pressure to buy cold drinks. We also had to pay a fee of 40 dollars for something. I dont think thstvthis was clearly explained as part of the write up about the tour.

Enjoyed the knowledge of our guides. Did not like that we did not have any free time at the site.

I did enjoyed the whole experience, the visit to Chichen Itza, the swim in the cenote and the visit to Valladolid. Was a great opportunity to visit everything in one day. I would have liked to have more time and Chichen Itza to do some shopping, as prices were really good there. Food was nothing special or different from other places, and the souvenir store next to it was expensive and not very nice. Valladolid's visit was too short, just 30 mins.

We were told we would be cooking with the Mayans and it wasn't anything like this. We arrived in a canteen where the food was served. The food was nothing special.

The guide was very well educated and respected in his field. We appreciated having his experience to guide us . We would have liked a little time on our own at the ruins to take our own pics . The tour was very structured. Im not sure if that’s because they are thinking we might touch things that are restricted . There were worries that we wouldn’t get back in time or to the next place in time . The whole tour was very involved and obviously organised well . We had a varied and worthwhile day
