El Salt Lick Safari Lodge está construido sobre pilotes y tiene vistas a un abrevadero iluminado. Desde tu habitación o desde las zonas de observación, puedes ver cómo llegan los animales a beber desde el atardecer hasta el amanecer. Los elefantes, los búfalos y otros animales salvajes se reúnen abajo, mientras te envuelven los sonidos de la sabana africana. El abrevadero está iluminado por la noche, así que puedes seguir observándolos incluso cuando oscurece.

Si reservas la opción de polaco, ten en cuenta que, por motivos operativos y logísticos, un guía de habla polaca acompañará a todo el grupo y dará información en las paradas indicadas en los distintos vehículos
La experiencia empieza sobre las 5:00 de la mañana del primer día y termina sobre las18:00-18:30 del segundo día, en función de la ubicación de tu hotel

Robert our guide was so knowledgeable. He did his absolute best to make sure we saw as many animals & birds. The salt lick lodge was an amazing experience watching the animals from high up come to drink at the water hole.

I enjoyed every single second of this trip/ experience to salt much safari lodge . Magnificent place to stay and a phenomenal experience overall. If I had anything to say to improve it ….. it would be for the safari jeeps that pick you up from your hotel to take you there could have air conditioning in them for the travel to and from the lodge.

Our tour guide Omar was absolutely fantastic he was so patient when letting us take photos of the animals and so informative, we couldn’t have asked for anyone better he made it such a fantastic experience. Salt lake was truly incredible the food was superb and all the staff are kind and helpful. In the evening we booked a night drive and the two gentleman again where fantastic they even helped us find a lion up close past the tour time so we couldn’t enjoy the experience and take videos/photos.

Yes. This safari is operated by Pollmans Tours & Safaris Ltd, a well-established Kenyan tour operator. You travel in a 4x4 seating six to seven people, driven by an English-speaking driver who also acts as your guide. Game drives take place within Taita Hills and Ngutuni wildlife sanctuaries, both protected areas with established routes. Children under five are not permitted.

You'll be away from your hotel for one night (the night at Salt Lick Safari Lodge). Let your hotel reception know in advance. You do not need to cancel your booking. Simply inform them you'll be away for one night. Your room and belongings stay as normal.

The price includes: hotel pick-up and drop-off in Mombasa, all transport in a 4x4 safari vehicle, English-speaking driver-guide, entrance fees to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary and Ngutuni Wildlife Sanctuary, one night at Salt Lick Safari Lodge, four meals (day one: lunch and dinner; day two: breakfast and lunch), drinking water in the vehicle, and game drives as described. Not included: extra transport supplement for pick-ups from Kilifi (minimum two guests) or Watamu and Malindi hotels (minimum two guests).

Kenya's dry seasons, from June to October and January to February, are generally the best months for wildlife viewing in Taita Hills and Ngutuni. Animals gather around water sources during dry periods, making them easier to spot. That said, this safari operates year-round and wildlife is present in all seasons.

No particular fitness level is required. The safari is entirely vehicle-based, with game drives in a comfortable 4x4. Walking is limited to moving between your room and dining areas at the lodge and resort. Suitable for most ages, though children under five are not permitted.
