Excursión de un día a Éfeso desde Samos

We would have liked more information about outward journey - assumed pick-up by coach so surprised (but very happy) to be taken to the port by cab. We were dropped at unoccupied port passport control building and left waiting for an hour - unfortunately in the open in pouring rain - for it to open with no idea how to obtain our ferry tickets.
