Autobús de enlace matinal a Makarska

Visited before and love Makarska town and harbour. The bus arrived late to collect us from the hotel and the driver told us to be there 10 mins before departure from Makarska (he left 10 mins early). We lost about 30 mins of our trip. There is no tour guide but this is not necessary. Tickets are very expensive for such a short journey.

On time, comfortable shuttle to the local town, safely driven, delighted with trip and town, thanks to all concerned.

Definitely worth doing this trip makarsa is a must to visit. Beautifully town. Drive on the way could have driven a bit slower . One gentleman was nearly sick. Value for money 26 euros each . After booking we did find there is a bus that goes at the top of the road for 3 euros each way .The reception staff said the bus is very reliable where the tui rep told us it wasnt . People round the hotel found bus ok . May be the shuttle should have been cheaper

Prompt, punctual, comfortable…There was 8 of us that shared a large MPV type taxi. Each couple paid 52 euros for a 20 minute each way trip, worked out at about £45 per couple, £180 for the taxi ride…seemed expensive

I was not impressed with this shuttlebus as the driver was 10 minutes late picking us up from the hotel and over 15 minutes late collecting us from Makarska. It was a very hot day and waiting in the heat for him to arrive was not comfortable at all. On the plus side, at least the bus had aircon.

A relaxing mornings visit. Plenty of restaurants / bars / ice cream shops. Good for people watching if that's your thing. The market is interesting to have stroll around and buy some fruit and veggies if needed. But for us, this was a bit pricy for a visit to a coffee shop and a sit down.
