You'll explore this tropical daydream Caribbean Isle, soaking up the sun and the vibrant colours while you stroll along palm-shaded beaches. First up is a coastal tour of Cotubanama National Park, then you'll stop at a natural pool for a dip before heading to the beach for lunch and free time. Ramon, one of our expert guides, says, ‘Our priority is to protect our pristine environment and all the species that make Saona so special. We were the first country to protect manatees by law, and we have a turtle conservation programme here on the island, too.'

After a relaxing cruise over to Saona, the sightseeing can begin in earnest. You'll cruise the shoreline of the Cotubanama National Park while your local guide points out the island wildlife. See the rocks of El Peñón, and then glide through the Catuano channel. Next, it's time to cool off in the azure water of the natural pools, formed by sandbanks in the open sea. The water is such a tempting shade of blue you won't be able to resist.

Docking at one of Saona Island's fabulous beaches, you'll step off the boat for some beach time. There's the Caribbean for paddling, soft white sand to dip your toes in, and a volleyball pitch to play on. Or you could take the simplest option and just stretch out in the sun. After your tasty buffet lunch is served, there's more free time to enjoy the magical setting.

Unser Guide Oskar war sehr freundlich und konnte alles auf mehreren Sprachen vermitteln. Die Anreise mit dem Boot war sehr spaßig, mit guter Musik und ein paar Getränken. Die Insel selber ist wunderschön, das Essen vor Ort ist sehr einfach und nichts besonderes.

Der Ausflug war toll, aber kaum auf der Insel angekommen kamen schon recht viele Damen auf einen zu und haben Massagen angeboten, fand ich zu aufdringlich.

The trip was fantastic all transfers were great ,food was enjoyable the whole experience was good . The guide wasn't great he slept a lot lying on people's seats and on the floor . His was just in the way taking up valuable space . Also he kept going on about his tips walking up and down making everyone feel awkward. We had a problem with up point the hotel didn't let us on their hotel grounds to be collected or dropped off. More pick up points are needed which are outside hotel grounds.

I thought the trip was great, but sick and tired of constant upselling, beach hawkers and people asking for tips. For example our guide said that our photo would be taken before getting on the boat for ID purposes - it wasn’t at all, it was to put the photo on a bottle of local brew for selling to us later. I thought we’d escape this with a TUI tour - but no!

Most of time was travelling to the port, at the island we have only couple of hours to enjoy which is not enough as everything was in the hurry. When we switch boats captain stealen my wife's expensive crocks when we asked tour guy Victoriano "Obama" he never try to claim them back so she walk on bear foot into the bus through the town. There was a big push for tips everywhere you move even when you give one they want more. I would not recommend this experience distasteful behaviour.
