If you're ready for an adventure like you've never known before, then come and set foot in Xenses adventure park near Cancun – where nature takes centre stage. You'll be thrown into different ecosystems and activities, and embark on a voyage of discovery through air, land and water as you bring your senses to life on this half-day trip.
With so many different scenarios to challenge your mind and body, Xenses is where new adventures begin. You'll have a choice of more than 15 activities including the tree-top Bird Flight zip-line, a hike through caverns in the Labyrinth of Underground Arteries, swim in a salt river, enjoy nature in all its glory at The Eden and release your inner child at the mud river.
There's also an original town and the Xítric Garden to visit as well as the Xensatorium where you'll experience all different ecosystems. And to cap it off there's some unexpected illusions and fun for all the family along the way. Half a day of untapped exploration in nature.

When you imagine the ancient Mayans peering into mysteriously deep and limpid underground pools, it's easy to see how they came to believe these cenotes were windows to the underworld. This National Geographic Day Tour is a journey into the deepest aspects of Mayan culture, bridging the gap between the tempting beauty of the cenotes the region is so famous for, and the significance they hold in local tradition. Ariel, one of our local guides on this tour, says, ‘Holbox is a habitat for more than 300 endemic and migratory bird species. It's also something of a playground, with activities such as speedboats and beach buggies.'Board your boat at Chiquila – piloted by a local fisherman – and be whisked off on a two-hour coastal tour. Every other company uses the local ferry. Your guide will point out places known for their wildlife – some 150 bird species have been spotted on the island – and explain what efforts are being made to preserve this habitat. For three decades, Holbox has been part of Yum Balam Nature Reserve. And if you're doing the tour between June and September, you may be lucky enough to catch sight of the island's flamboyant flamingos.Plus, you'll discover the beauty of the secluded beaches of tiny Isla Pasion – Holbox itself boasts 36km of white-sand strands – before heading to the eco-resort for lunch followed by downtime on the sunloungers.
